Why use The Phoenix Centre?
Exciting, bright & environmentally friendly spaces at The Phoenix...
In recent years the Trustees, following consultation with user groups and with the assistance of grant givers have been able to make significant changes to The Phoenix Centre. In the last four years we have struggled to secure over £800,000 of funding to turn the Centre in to what is probably the 'greenest' refrubished Community Centre in Kent and possibly one of the best equiped. After years of work by the Trustees and volunteer team The Phoenix Centre is now something that our entire community can have pride in.
As part of the project the whole Centre has now been refurbished, the main public areas have been entirely remodelled with the addition of many green features and environmentally sound technologies, all of this work has been completed to a high standard. You will find that The Centre is bright, clean, warm in the winter, cool in the summer, offering scope for a wide range of activities or functions.

The privacy offered make this an ideal space for outdoor activity of many types.
We have our own Car Park with in our grounds, free to Centre user groups, the Car Park is open and well lit. As the grounds are gated it is possible to offer greater security than could be enjoyed by on street parking.
